| Zinc Applications: Sidestep Today's High Costs (Continued)
Since CWM’s hot-chamber Mg machines can normally accommodate the identical die casting dies now being used for most Zn production, this conversion to Mg output can begin immediately after die sampling. The set of existing dies for Zn must first be qualified by CWM for volume production, which includes a Zn die sampling on the appropriate CWM hot-chamber Mg machine. For answers to your questions on direct Zn to Mg conversions, contact your CWM Sales-Engineering Representative or the CWM Sales Dept. CWM Website Offers New OEM Mini-Seminar (Continued) Each process alternative is compared with High-Precision Die Casting production, for small to large parts, or to Miniature (4-slide) Die Casting production, for very small parts. Several process comparisons of your choice can be referenced in minutes, and all 10 processes reviewed in approximately 15 minutes.
CWM website Mini-Seminars are available for viewing 24/7 by all OEM and independent design consultant visitors after a one-time registration at the site's "OEM Resource Center." (Close this Window & Return to Page 1) For OEM Buyers: Expanded Sourcing Aids (Continued) New Web Resources for OEM Buyers. The website’s FAQ section will expand its “Purchasing Guidelines for Die Cast Parts” to include answers to many more questions frequently asked by purchasing managers.
